Sophie works a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

I am currently studying to complete my Registered Nursing Degree Apprentice course, due to qualify in Autumn 2025. My studies have brought lots of experience in orthopedic surgery, respiratory, rehabilitation and palliative care.  

Past qualifications include Lead Decontamination and Infection Control, NVQ3 Dental Nursing and Access to Higher Education - Healthcare.   

Alongside this I am working at Woodsend Medical Centre as a Healthcare Assistant.   The Healthcare Assistant role in Primary Care is extensive, my day involves performing phlebotomy, health checks, health promotion, ECG’s, wound dressings, clip and stitch removal, B12 injections and vaccinations. I undertake regular Continued Professional Development training to keep my knowledge and skills current.  

My interests include genitourinary medicine and oncology.
